Currently, the only option phillyblog gives for some posts is to set the user to "ignore". While this is effective for weeding out some of the more offensive posters, it's a rather blunt weapon. I would like to suggest another option: setting a user to "I like pie" status.
When set, the Ilps will respond to rodo... er, I mean, the selected poster's message with "I like pie."

Thanks for the blogs. Although they don't appear to be entirely active and lively, I like them.
From a marketing viewpoint, I think it would be nice to have PB e-mail addresses that forward to our personal addresses. Such as: tbdiscovery@phillyblog.com or real.name@phillyblog.com. It wouldn't take up server space, yet would assist in promotion. I also feel that our member pages should be simpler to find, such as: www.phillyblog.com/tbdiscovery, rather than the current roundabout version. Either way, great job.

Does vBulletin allow you to format the threads so that you're able to view every post in an entire thread on one single page? (Like a "View all" option?)
As it stands now, to read through an entire 10 page thread, you need to page forward 10 times, then page back 10 times to get back to the thread list. If you want to quote sombody's post in your response, you have to remember what page it was on or fish around to find it. Not a really big deal, but other forums I use have this function and it just makes it much more generally user-friendly. |
