What i see is a huge underground economy, fast drivers, and more violence , kids dropping out and growing up in gangs and more unemployment and violence to come, I assure you and everyone here.. Again I will tout my solution: Clean air. California and Govenor are trying to pull out all means to get business reinterested in clean air economy and voters know its a win win scenario. I think Gov Rendell is trying to improve our environment with some Republican opposition but its not emphatic enough. .
Philadelphians couldn't be optimistic if they wanted to from a medical and health aspect , and when taking everyone in Philly together;- I totally God Honests Truth make that assertion. Particulate pollution over time breaks down every cell in every person in Philadelphia. Its totally impossible for us to revitalize anything , but I am sure no one is going to believe me. Whatever about the cure, the reality is Philly is no way moving to top of anything good except history. WE can though. I propose our next mayor does what ever it takes to do the studies to show damage increasing from amounts of particulates this city gets and the number of days we get it and to get polluters to do much more to clean the air and for the city to make mandatory emission control the law here.Besides my allegations, of negative consequences and all the health care commercials for asthma and allergy and lung centers etc, what if we had commercials for businesses that needed jobs for people to join in thousands to exercise, not for one day to fight cancer but daily for the good of it? ! Can you imagine the surprise? The shock, the utter dare I suggest rational concern for health and doing the right things? What if we had Doctors and tv executives and politicians really care to take this city to next level and capitalize on our four seasons without too many extremes, the great park system, closeness to mountains and the shore and our diverse richness in history and we were touted we could explore that in good health and good air? Could our everything be affected? Could people get healthier, could people even sleep better with cleanair be more optimistic? ( I say most definitely YES), so instead of f rated air, an economy dependent on sick people and hospitals , we actually take advantage of what we have going for it and do it with a healthy environment. If only someone sane knew how right I was , it would be for everyones advantage and I bet my life on it mandating polluters and cars to have mandatory emission standards would be a small price to pay for a better Philadelphia with a real future. Incidentally not only is increasing amounts of particulates causing problems and early deaths and a load of other things, I now am making another assertion, it causes less deep sleep then in areas where people get clean air. This is total subjective opinion based on a few series of questions I have asked people and a doctor. Of course the differences in allot of areas between clean and polluted places could prove a host of other things, but its kind of sad, all this means not much to most of our politicans, To me this is a dream state of intoxication if I thought people cared enough about doing the right things here... . Finally the worse thing about not doing more about the most important issue that Philadelphia will ever face, is lost of trust. If leadership and executives and even US gov accepts this poisoning. don't be surprised, if people lose their respect, their health, their ability to care and their ability to trust their government and others and eventually we lose our ability to compete and fight for freedom and truth.
