nyaaaaa. The populous is much to lazy and apathetic for this.
Make us a script that fills out the fields. Better yet make it a perl script that populates the fields then sends it. I might be able to motive myself enough to click on a button. Maybe

Another thing to consider is dropping Comcast altogether...
Horrors! Actually, it might not be as much of an inconvenience as you'd think. First, the newest Blackberries that run on Verizon give you an option to sign up for broadband wireless service for $15/month. From what I've been told, it's nearly as fast as DSL. I realize that's not cable-modem speed, but for most internet use, it may be fast enough -- and I understand that it's only supposed to get faster. I think you basically get broadband internet access anywhere you get Verizon reception. [UPDATE: sorry, I meant to add that you can also hook the blackberry up to your computer and use it as a modem.] Of course, there are three problems with that: 1. Verizon. Yeah, I know... no good answer there. 2. You have to buy a blackberry, and you have to sign up for data service, so really, you're talking about $55 per month for slower-than-cable speed. On the upside, though, you get a cell phone and pda (and the blackberries aren't that expensive when you sign up for a contract), and you get broadband access pretty much anywhere near a U.S. city. 3. No cable... well, you should be outside enjoying the fresh Philadelphia air anyway. Okay, so it's not such a great option. My reason for posting this, however, is to suggest that there are alternatives that you can use to threaten Comcast in your phone calls and emails. The more they are reminded that they are not irreplaceable, the more responsive they have to be. Last edited by PhillyRunner : 09-20-2006 at 03:47 PM. |

What they need is MASSIVE bad publicity. Something public to get their attention....hmm...

to anyone who has thought i'm a shill for comcast, i'll gladly offer that YES, i experience this same thing (the picture freezes, the sound cuts out, then coming back everything is all pixelated) ALL THE TIME. like every 10-15 minutes, no matter what channel or time of day. guess i notice most during phillies games though.
i'm down 'ere in g-ho, and there's a huge comcast node on christian street, so i'm not that far from the source. sucks.

hence the 4000+ new jobs... they need to play catch up with technicians. If it wasn't for the pee test I mighta jumped the fence and worked for em a long time ago. I like office work but I like making an extra 30-40k a lot more. Basically the fuzz is due to their sucess..new customers...existing equipment.
