I'd like to know exactly where on Rittenhouse Square one can find a spacious flat with high ceilings and hardwood floors for $800 a month - heat and electricity included?!

I read on a blog somewhere that it was around 22nd and Walnut or Spruce. Not on the square, but near it.

I would believe 22nd and Walnut. There are quite a few old brownstones - converted to walk-ups - on that block that can use some updating. The reason why utilities are included, is because the building has a single electric meter which all the units share. Therefore the landlord (or PECO) does not have the ability to measure the electric usage for each apartment. I'm also willing to bet that those buildings get free steam from the Schuykill co-gen facility, and therefore all the apartments get free radient heat.

A spacious apartment including utilities for $800 anywhere - let alone Rittenhouse Square - is definitely the exception these days.
