There *is* supposed to be a supermarket in the new development at Front and Delaware Ave (two towers, preservation of some of the townhouses that are there, a space for a supermarket is part of the project). I guess it's a race between that one and the Schmidt's site one for who gets the store open first.

In the meantime, there's the Almanac at 4th and Poplar!
