Default Hewson Street

I've got friends thinking about buying on this little street called Hewson Street - not sure of what hundred it is - I think 1500 or 1600 - some houses look as if recently renovated and in great shape, others look a bit run down and a few that are empty - from the back of them look like they are falling down. Anyone familiar with this street or have suggestions or comments on it as a location to buy? Thanks.

A good friend of mine lives on Hewson and like every block in America she says a few neighbors are really nice and few are real jerks. The one thing that she complains about endlessly is that some neighbors just park their car in the middle of the street blocking traffic for hours at a time.

I suggest, just like any street, visiting it in the evening on a weekend...particularly Friday night. Talk to the neighbors too...they'll usually give you all the info you need.

I have friends that live on the 1500 block of Hewson. They've lived there for years and years. Just like other posters have said, you've got your good, you've got your bad. All in all it's not that bad.
