So there's this blog, Citynoise.org, where people can post pictures of their cities, share stories, etc. It's quite interesting actually.

There's a thread on there about Kensington where several folks from "better parts of the country" (I'm assuming the burbs) are convinced that there is NOTHING good taking place in these neighborhoods!

What the F**K does anyone who lives in the burbs know about Kensington, or anywhere not in center city or south street for that matter. Now having read the article and all the posts I have to ask the original poster what are you on? 90% of the posts are from people who lived or still live in Kensington and 3/4 of those posts are sad or negative about what happened there. The workshop of the world is dead and gone and what the area was up until the 50's or 60's will never be back. How can it... there are several THOUSAND empty shops, mills and factories in the area...

Most of the posts on there are from people who live in or used to live in Kensington and they all seem to be pretty honest with their feelings. One of the things that I've always liked about people that I've known from Kensington is that they don't mince words.

That's 5th St in No Libs; my friends used to live in that building.

Also, that thread on the other site is two years old.
