Default stolen car

So when I left my house this morning and walked across the street to get in my car, there was another car parked where I had parked mine. I scratched my head and though maybe I parked somewhere else, so I wandered around thinking I was an idiot who had just forgotten where I parked. Nunzio witnessed me in my state of confusion. I ran in to some other neighbors who confirmed that my car was parked where I remembered parking it last night. So sometime between the hours of 11pm and 8am, my car was stolen. there was no sign of any broken glass, and my car has an alarm (which i'm anal about making sure is on). so whoever stole it could've had a master key. I called ppa to make sure it wasn't just towed (although there wasn't any reason it should've been towed) and i obviously reported this to the police. the police officer said that it's getting worse and worse throughout the city.

i'm hoping that my car turns up, b/c i loved my little old car- it was perfect for me and don't wanna go through the hassle of finding another one. so if anyone sees a 1999 green honda civic ex (plate number eyn8293) with a university of scranton license plate cover around let me know know

also - just a word of warning. the police officer told to me to never leave any insurance or registration info in your car, as that's one of the first things the theives do is look for this. so if they get pulled over for something suspicious before the car gets reported, they have all your info and could just tell the cops that you lent them the car and they'd make their story more believable b/c they'd know your name and address.

Honda's are hot in Philly. It most likely ended up in Kensington, as all the jobless losers that are driving around the neighborhood, day and night, are driving Hondas.

Sorry to hear that! Did it turn up yet? Our car was broken into somehow (the windows weren't broken - when we came out, one door was unlocked) and they stole our registration and insurance info, along with some of my CDs... you know, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra... at least the crook has some taste in music! Anyway, hope you hear some good news soon!

I know the feeling, I walked around the block 3 times, cause sometimes I can't remember where I park, but it was gone! I did get it back 2 days later from 16th & Tasker all busted up. Hope you see it again.

That is an awful feeling. Two weeks before I moved out of N Lib to Fishtown my honda was stolen. It was found in what they now call N LIb WEST burned out.
It really sucks.
