I'm sure the people who actually like these kinds of "Irish bars", will like this bar as well. It'll be a good spot for concert and club goers too.

This is probably a good location for a suburban chain, fake irish party shack. Close to the Electric Factory and far from me.

McGillicuddys is not a fake bar. All 5 locations are owned and operated by a well respected Delaware County Family. This bar will not bring trouble to the neighborhood as they do not tolerate such things. Thier prices are reasonable and the food is good.

I sugest you give them a try before you knock them.

I'm not a fan of Irish bars myself, but McGillicuddy's is an appropriate fit for that site. That two or three block radius has a number of bars that cater to that demographic - Finnegan's, McFadden's, Tiki Bob;s, etc.

It's not on a residential block, so I can't imagine it would create any new problems. I'm guessing it's a step up from Whiskey Dix which is a good thing.
