Default Graff artists

I was at 5th and CB last weekend and videotaped Midas, Desil and Moon Man working together to create three related pieces with a computer/robot theme.

I'm working on a documentary on Philly graffiti and know a few of the best artists now, so I can make introductions if you're interested.

Default For the enthusiasts...

If you're ever in NYC visit the school yard @ 106th and Park (nothing to do with the BET show). http://www.eastharlemtourism.org/graffiti.htm

I'm not into the graffiti here but I remember when I was a kid and taking photography in high school, there were great graffiti artists and I shot plenty of their work in Upstate NY. New York City in the early mid-90's when I lived there was ripe with really good work as well.

Default go with...

Vhotaki, I spoke with the guy in the Funk/Craigslist post and he does this for a business, so it's probably best to go with him. The only reason to go with someone else is if that person is your friend or you like a particular artist's style. If you go with the Business guy and you do it quickly, you might get into the video I'm planning to do on him (he agreed to be avideo subject over the weekend).

They are destroying public property, graffiti, whatever you call it, that is on public or private property with out the owners consent should be arrested.

It's vandalism and ugly. I don't get how people on here can consider this stuff art..........but to each their own.

They're NOT artists.
