Yeah, I originally noticed the smell whenever I brushed my teeth or got a glass of water late night, sometimes when I showered.

I have a Brita water filter thingy on my kitchen sink and a Brita pitcher which I fill with the filtered kitchen tap water!

I sometimes get a real nasty oniony smell from my water! I turn off my spicket and see if maybe it's something in my house, but sure enough as soon as I turn it back on again...the smell re-appears.

Anyone else ever get this smell?

that's so bad..considering water in New York is 10X better than down here and they're 10X larger.. WTF?!

My water also smells moldy it is def worse in the hot months.

My water had this slight "dirt" smell and aftertaste during the winter months and especially after the spring thaw...When we got a lot of rain in the Spring. I had just recently noticed that my water (Fishtown) doesn't have that dirt/rust taste anymore. And that the chlorine smell and taste are present, but not as bad as in the past. You can always have your water checked by the water company if it is really bad or gets worse. I still use my Brita filtration thingy on my kitchen faucet as well as a Brita pitcher that I fill with the filtered kitchen water.

They get their water directly from the Catskill's, and not the Schuylkill river.
