Maybe it was the dudes selling the coke and heroin at the benches.

It was very common knowledge that all you had to do is take a seat and they would come over and ask what you need. Its a shame, but not a surprise at that corner.

But closing the take out is not going to stop that activity. That was going on before 3 points and will continue still.

Default 3 Points

I haven't had a chance to read the sign posted @ 3 Points...what did it say?

I figured they were closed down for health/sanitation violations. I can't figure out whats worse..that I enjoy eating a burger or cheesesteak from there (once every few MONTHS) or that my first thought was they were closed for health/sanitation violations and was kind of bummed cause it was convient late night food.

Closing the place down wouldn't keep the thugs and junkies away. The burned down bar across the street still attracks those losers even though it has been sealed by L&I. I think if it is so widely known that is a drug corner then why can't the 26th put some survillence there and help us residents get rid of them. I mean really...it doesn't take a rocket scientist. We need more survillence and arrests at these hot spots!!!

I belieeve the sign said someting about permits and nusiance not about health violations (I did not read it personally) This is why I was wondering if people from the area actively got it closed or something

on the survaillence issue my impression is that the cops are far more re-active than pro-active. there was an "incident" down the street from me on monday night... cop cars flying to the scene the chopper above etc... meanwhile this is an obviously "active" corner they should be policing it regularly.

Drugs are used and sold amazingly openly as if there is not fear of getting caught.

Default 3 points wasn't bad

I really liked three points as a late night anytime snack joint. I ordered a B.S.T (brocolli, spinach, tomato) cheesesteak from them regularly at all sorts of crazy hours. Thats a shame they are gone....

I bought a sandwich from them while I was wandering around before the Kensington Arts Festival last year. Well painted and seemingly clean outside (at least for that block of Frankford Ave), it appeared to be a good addition to the neighborhood and gutsy, hopeful act of entrepreneurship. The sandwich was good too. Not great, but good.
