This year's round-up is planned for Sat., July 28th. The drop-off location will be 4th & Washington Ave (south side on Wash Ave).


If you are interested in volunteering, please come to the Memphis Street recycling spot, across from Palmer Cemetery @ 9AM on Saturday, July 28th. The more trucks we have, the quicker the round-up. Please contact us if you have a truck and would like to participate. Ideally, we’ll have 2-3 volunteers per truck (including the driver).


In addition to keeping our streets clean and properly disposing of abandoned tires, the Fishtown Neighbors Association will receive $0.50 for each tire that is collected (up to $500) to assist with community service projects.

I have a large trailor which works like a dump truck. If I manage to get it all registered and inspected by then someone could borrow it. I will be out of town that weekend.

I think just a regular size pick-up would work best. We need a few of them, to be most efficient.
