Default local realtors?

i'll be graduating in june and want to begin the process of buying a home in the fishtown/kensington area. can anyone recommend a local realtor? (first hand experience as a client is preferred, this is not a request for agent spam...)

also, on an aside, does anyone know where i can find info on homeownership incentives for recent grads? would the nkcdc be helpful for this? (as a student, i'm technically low-income, fyi.)

thanks in advance

Feargus Mccaughey
Really knows the area and is also nice guy. Helped make buying our first house a pretty pleasant experience for my fiance and I.
He's with Prudential Fox and Roach

The insult stems from this:

i had some horrible realtor experiences last time around. i'm picky, demanding and incessant - and many realtors fired ME out of frustration! one office in particular really turned me off, but i've been chastised for naming names here before, so i'll just stick with who i CAN recommend.

i finally settled on weichert realtors, who is based in the neighborhood (on fairmount between 2nd and 3rd). i worked with patrick campbell, who saw me through a harrowing four-month process with extremely difficult sellers to closing. i would recommend him. he knows the area well.

I would have to recommend Brooke. She was great with everythign from explaining the entire process to giving me first hand input on the neighborhood itself.
