WE ARE HOSTING A SALON TO BENEFIT KENSINGTON’S NEWEST THEATRE

THE WALKING FISH AND WE HOPE YOU'LL COME!

B. Someday Productions, the theatre company that melds literature and myth with theatre, is proud to announce the upcoming Benefit Salon, "A Taste of Theatre" on Saturday, May 5, 2007, starting at 7:00PM. The evening will feature catered food, theatre selections, music and wine, beer (donated by Yards) and soft drinks. There will also be a Silent Auction of donated local items. The money raised will go toward the premiere season of theatre and education at The Walking Fish Theatre, 2509 Frankford Avenue. Tickets for the Salon Benefit are $35-$75 and are available by calling Michelle Pauls at 215-427-2822. The B. Someday Productions Salon Benefit will take place at the home of Board Member, Carol Denker, 1545 E. Montgomery Avenue in Fishtown.

"’A Taste of Theatre’ will be an intimate affair where people can eat and drink well, schmooze and mingle and help the community’s only theatre company get a good start by supporting the ambitious programs we have slated for this coming year," says Artistic Director, Stan Heleva. Many neighborhood artists have volunteered their talents for the Benefit Salon: Hannah Tsapatoris, Blues Singer, Elga of Urbana, Pop and Mary Ellen Desmond, Jazz, as well as some live theatre performed by B. Someday actor, Michelle Pauls and local actor, Doug Greene. Some of the donators for the Silent Auction include: Johnny Brenda’s, The Rocket Cat, Las Cazuelas, Angler Movement Studio, Angel Photography Studio, The Japanese House in Fairmount Park and others.
