For all of you looking to meet your neighbors, this is an excellent opportunity. It looks like it may rain though--so pay attention to the rain date.

Was it a great turn-out? It seems the amount of people at Yard's was unusually small this time...

i was in the middle of my own mini cleanup saturday around the palmer cemetery...i took out my shovel and my trash can and scooped up the piles of dirt that seemed welded onto the sidewalk...i got about halfway down memphis street and my trash can was full and i was sweaty and needed to get ready for a wedding in old city
glad the turnout for the frankford ave. cleanup was good!

great turnout!
there were about 60 neighbors out there on Saturday. The crowd at Yards wasn't as big..it seems a few people either skipped the barbeque or were still out there cleaning! We also installed upwards of 70 "Yo! No Dumping!" stickers along Frankford Avenue storm drains, to encourage local youth not to litter. Hopefully the message will get across to a few.....
