5 people showed. It's apparently like other bars in Fishtown, 'cept a little nicer and cleaner inside. No crazy stories to report. At around 9-ish, we were hungry and went to Johnny Brenda's in search of food.

Guessing the bikers may have been at Ozzfest.

They had some decent beers on tap; Guinness, New Castle, 5 or 6 others. You don't see that at the typical Fishtown Bar

It was actually moderately upscale, in the sense of being rather nicely decorated and having a good selection. The TVs were a bit too loud (especially after they plugged them into the PA system), and it would be nice to have food for those of us who don't go to drink. But nonetheless, a nice little place.

At least a year or so ago... I havent been there in 10 years myself, since I turned 21. I remember seeing the band Bachan Rage (if thats how they spelled it) and getting drunk. I miss being 21

Actually looks cool from the outside. My bf used to hang out there when he was in his teens apparently? He went in once right after it reopened and it was dead...hasn't been back since.

I think the next spot is Les and Doreen's Happy Tap. I've recently been going to Scoops...(don't make the mistake I did and order two scoops...a singular scoop is sufficient unless you're trying to down the whole gallon of ice cream...) and it looks like a cute little neighborhood place.

Not to mention Fork's may be reopening soon. Lots of exciting stuff going on.
