In early May I am taking part in the Relay for Life to raise money for the American Cancer Society. For those of you who are not familiar, the Relay for Life is a 24 hour walk/run to raise money for cancer. When I agreed to become part of this endeavor I began researching cancer statistics and what I found was truly disturbing. Please follow the link below to see some of the statistics.

This is not a scam and if you aren't comfortable donating online please print off the pdf (it is found on the link below) and mail the donation directly to the American Cancer Society. Also, if anyone would be interested in walking/running please send me a message. We have 8 people committed on the team so far and could definitely use more. The current team is 30ish and loads of fun (I could be a bit biased on that last part).

Please join me in the fight against cancer. I am sure all of us have been touched by this disease in some way either through family members or friends. I need your help in raising money to help eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing it, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer.
