I know. Great people. Years ago I had that fella re-sole a pair of sandals for me. It's hard to find comfortable sandals for Flintstone feet like mine. I also had his put new soles on old good boots in the past. I'm gonna spotlight Star Shoe Repair in one of those "Sketches of Fishtown" pieces.

But the shop iteslf does remind me of the old fairytale about the shoemaker and the elves.
