thanks dan...couldn't find them on the site, though. even if you're not familiar with the specific hours, do you know if they are a weekend-only kinda place? i took a walk over there today at noon and they were closed. i wanted cheap tacos and couldn't get cheap tacos!

thanks dan -- i don't know how i missed that but i did. they must not open 'til later in the year, huh? there are no signs of life and they were supposed to be open at 11am yesterday (according to the web site). i work from home and i have a feeling this will be a consistent walk for me -- that's why i'm taking such an eager interest.

no, but i was actually planning on taking that walk today for lunch since i can't seem to get my mercado fix. i'll let you know how it is.

btw, i noticed bob murphy's section in the city paper today -- supposedly there's a place called "the manhattan room" starting up this month at girard & frankford. "art...music...and drinks" i happen to enjoy all three. i wonder what part of that intersection this will be on?

Um, well it's not Wachovia, it's not that greek diner, it ain't JB's...so it's either got to be the northeast corner or the building they've been working on up on Frankford a few buildings.

I can't wait til those of us in the great white North on Berks get a trendy bar nearby. Ie. the reopening of Forks on Norris/Susquehanna. 7 points or whatever we're calling it nowadays.
