Default Forbes Reports No. Libs Values up 70% in 2 years

Calling it a "tough" neighborhood...very funny. These pansy writers wouldn't fare so well in Brewerytown or Nicetown, I'm thinking...

Amazing. Just the other day I was with a friend looking at a TINY apartment for 1500+ and it was a studio in the fairmount area. Couldn't believe how expensive things are on the north side.

Good news for you homeowners out there.

They're still using the 19122 zip code and calling in Northern Liberties. Of course, if I ever saw Junogi in Forbes, I might faint. From the slide show:

Quote:
11. Philadelphia, Penn.

ZIP Code: 19122
Neighborhood: Northern Liberties
2005 Median Sales Price: $93,500
Total Price Appreciation 2003 to 2005: 70%
Appreciation for New Homes: NA
Appreciation for Existing Homes: 59%

Philadelphia's downtown has been making a comeback, and the rising tide is lifting land prices in scruffy Northern Liberties. Once an industrial area and then a struggling community, it has become coveted by developers.
