Penn Treaty Park Clean-Up a Great Success!
Many thanks to all the volunteers from Booze Allen Hamilton, and the Unintarian Universalist Church for lending such an expert hnad to the Park clean-up today. Thanks to all the members of the Friends of Penn Treaty Park, their significant others, for working to get the word out, workin ghard today, and being such a positive presence. Thanks to all for bringing food and drink. Thanks to the Fairmount Park Commission for the support with tools, plants, and the visit from Kate Lapsczinksi and Charlie Dougherty from FPC was motivating. Thanks to Mike O'Brien for stopping by and letting us know that he is behind our efforts and will do his best to assist in any way that he can. Thanks to Phil from the A.O.H who so kindly offered to make the Friends of Penn Treaty Park a possible recepient of a donation from their Boxing Event. Thanks to all the sielnt support and words of thanks that we get from dog walkers, and families using the park and recognizing not only our efforts, but how community involvement can give this park back to the community. It is a gem of the Fairmount Park System. See you all at the next clean-up!
