Default FAX your Reps Today! We need more time deal with the casino issue!!

Write your officials NOW and tell them we need more time and information about ALL proposed casino development in the city of Philadelphia!

It's easy. Go to http://www.hallwatch.org/faxbank/morehelp and leave a message. Your comments will be automatically faxed to your elected representatives.

----
Philadelphia residents need help understanding and dealing with the casinos that are applying for licenses to operate in the city. We are working around the clock to keep the casinos from irrevocably changing the surrounding neighborhoods for the worse.

But without the help of city and state officials, we don't have the time, information and money needed to take on the large, well-funded casino corporations. We need our elected officials to hear us and help us.

Please write to your elected officials TODAY to ask them to give the residents of Philadelphia a fair chance by giving us the time, money and information we need.

With unity there is strength. We need your support with the Casino projects to motivate our elected officials to help our community. It is letters from active citizens like yourself that make our democracy run. Pass the word along to your friends and neighbors so we can encourage the city to act on out behalf!

Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. - Meredith

By way of a bump. As of this morning, 130 faxes have been sent by residents from across the city, expressing their frustration with the casino licensing process and outright opposition to any casinos being developed in our neighborhoods. South Philly, in particular, has really showed a presence on the faxbank -- so, c'mon, Fishtown and NoLibs, let's keep those letters coming. Many of you on the forum have sent in letters, but we all have friends and family who might just need a little nudging.
