I am a newly joined member of the FNA's public relations committee. (This is my first meeting
These are the creative minds at the FNA that handle the website and the monthly flyer the FNA puts out called "Fishtown Life"

If anyone is interested in joining this committee, or stopping by to see what it is about please come to our next meeting on Wednesday April 14, 2004!
It will be held at the Fishtown Rec Center at 6:00

Aren't the meetings the 3rd Thursday of the month--not Wednesday? Yes, the FNA knows about us/me--I met the president at the Angler Arts event a few weeks ago.

I can't make this month's due to a relative in from out of town but next month's I will definitely be there. From what I hear, the FNA needs more representation of younger people.

The FNA meetings are on Thursdays, but I think she's saying this committee's meetings are on Wednesdays.

You got it right Dan,
This is a Committe within the organization that handles the Public Relations aspect of the FNA, specifically Website and Publications.
According to the committee chair Maggie O'Brien, they are always looking for new thinkers and I decided to join this specific committee. There are also other committees you could join individually that meet on different days within the month, in addition to the regular monthly meetings of the FNA

So again, all are welcome, please come!!
and Brooke, I did not forget I owe you a drink at the next Happy Hour!

Hi

Due to several factors--one being the weather the meeting scheduled for
tonight has been cancelled. Tomorrow night is the regular general
membership meeting at 7PM, we are going to get together before that meeting
and just have a quick meeting at 6:15. If you can't make it at that
time don't worry because we will have a full fledged meeting again next
week.
Now I know you are interested in working on the website-are you also
interested in writing for the Newsletter?
I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
