I'm glad I got to try it once, at least... food was decent when I was there.

As far as colors, I just walked past there on Sunday and could've sworn it was the exact same color as before... maybe I just didn't pay attention.

No, the building was originally dark green. They repainted it once they bought the place..I thought they were just repainting the place...But then I found out they sold the place:

Yep, definitely different. Must've been busy looking down the street to see if a trolley would show up as I was walking by.

I ate at Bussola last night. It was really good. The service was great, the food was delicious. My review: http://fishtown.us/node/2526

Thumbs up on Bussola. Love the atmosphere...feels like a plantation house in N. Carolina when you're sitting on the "porch." Great food--though not much selection for the veggieheads. I was hoping they'd have a stuffed artichoke (still haven't located one in Philly besides Chez Winston's Mom's) but they didn't. Our service was odd--very friendly, helpful...but very nervous and dropped lots of stuff. They were fine with the other table so I'm not sure what exactly was up there. Anyway, would go back for sure.

Btw, drinks are $1 off between 5-7pm and always when it's raining...which I thought was a cute touch. The bar is very pretty so I see myself drinking there!

Default New Restaurant in old San Juan

I have been to the new restaurant, it wasn't very good. The service was slow and the food was just as bad as El Viejo. It is still owned by the same people, they have some Italian guy running the place, but he seems in over his head. The bartender was a bit stiff, seemed to be trying to make friends too hard if you know what I mean.

I thought I would give it a chance, and did, but with so many other great places for Italian food, I have crossed it off my list.
