Penn Treaty Park 2 swings
Just walking around Penn Treaty Park and it just seems like we should get it together and do some fundraising to get some new playground equipment there. There used to be a slide and more swings... it is down to 2 swings and some awkward climbing thing-a-ma-gigs. The park itself is pretty well kept-up, I'm sure thanks to friends of the park.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a possible grant and recipient, I see the Neighborhood Transformation Initiaitive [NTI] is looking for proposals by mid-February. Maybe the NKCDC?
It must be a 501c3.
And on a biased note, wouldn't it be nice to have a Eastern States Penitentiary Style dog park at Penn Treaty? A lot of dogs already got their scent... there.
