My google attempt resulted in this choice bit of local news: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/news/022...sinkholes.html

Yes, the potholes in Philly are quite bad.

I thought it was weird too but that's what they called it. I definitely heard it on Channel 6 since I was watching the news that came after the Academy Awards. I guess they figured it wasn't important enough to merit mention on their website.

You guys need to get off the blog and into the streets. The event was the Ice Jam at Skytop Scooters and Rovers on Frankford and Wildey. It was, hands down, one of the best events to take place in Fishtown since I've lived here. The cobblestone block between Wildley and Shackamax was closed from 2-7, there were at least 150 people in attendance at various points, 2 bands, along wth artists and artisans selling their wares, a raffle for cool gifts from shops in Old City and N.Libs. Of course, the team from Yards were there pouring freshies. Good people, good food, good music, great beer, good cause. Plus, pleny of vintage Vespas, Mini's and Rovers on display.

Hey!--I was out all day yesterday. I walked from Norris down to Marlborough and across and back Palmer, Columbia, Marlborough, Berks, and Susquehanna and up and down Memphis and Sepviva. I didn't see any signs at all.

YES!!! I was there on my vintage 1967 Vespa enjoying lots of the fresh Yards that was on tap and enjoying the wicked nice weather to it's fullest. Didn't leave until sundown and then went to the Std. Tap for dinner before heading back home... The party was sponsored byInLiquid Design and held by Skytop Scooters/Rovers: http://www.inliquid.com/xindexx.html http://www.skytopscooter.com/ It was meant to mainly be for scooterists and local artists but it morphed into a block party for local Fishtowners which was awesome for everyone as maybe the next one will be planned as such and can be even larger as it can be advertised locally. Non scooterists are always welcome at scooter events as we are a very social drinking lot who love to chat.
