Default daycare in Fishtown/No Lib?

Does anyone have any leads for reputable daycare in the Fishtown / Northern Liberties area?

I think there's a program at the Fishtown Rec Center...does anyone know anything about it?

I believe the program at Fishtown Rec is a preschool, but not a daycare.
However, someone else may have better info.

The daycare program I've heard the most good things about is the one at Norris Square Presbyterian.

Its actually Norris Square Children's Center, about 2 blocks from the former Norris Square Presby church. Mascher St. between Norris and Diamond. Both my kids LOVED it!

Default Try GECA at Girard and Leopard St

We have two kids, a 5 year old and a 10 month old and both go to Girard early childhood academy next to McDonalds on Girard. Don't know for sure if they have any openings but I have been very happy with their service for three years now. The staff is wonderful Miss Pat, Miss Angie, Cindy, Brooke, Eva, Stacy, everyone is very friendly and nuturing to the kids . I would highly reccommend GECA without reservation.
P.S. bechbum98- they care for infants I imagine they have to be 6-8 weeks old but they have lots of little babies and Miss Angie is really great with the little ones !

Default I second GECA

My baby is almost 6 months and she has been at GECA since she was 10 weeks old. I have been happy with them.
My only complaint is the building. I wish it had more windows. Sigh.

LOVE Miss Angie! Not sure if they have any openings in the infant room though.
