Default Landscaping

Over the last year I have put in 3 trees, 9 bushes and flowers on my front lawn.

Looks like the neighbors have taken notice and have decided to do some landscaping of their own. As I look out my window I can see that they have dug up the grass and are putting down rock chips instead of grass.

How nice

Default More Landscaping

Now that we live in Philly, this is the first time we have had a yard.
It's a lot of fun.

Take a look at the weekend project.

I think the original post was sarcastic, he was saying that they are removing their landscaping in favor of stone.

Personally I'm moving to the city to get away from all of my landscaping, I spent the whole weekend pulling weeds and watering grass that just won't grow!

One of my reasons for wanting to move to the city tired of spending all my time on a yard when all I really need is a patio with some planters!

he was quite a supervisior
When the top went on he kept walking along it. He must have been surveying the work.

Someone suggested I cristen the wall. I expalined to them that the dog already did, last night around 8:30.

We were quite the attraction this weekend putting it up. Lots of gawkers and comments. The most bizzare one was from a lady who regretted the wall going up because her dog liked to relieve himself on or side lot and now had no place to go.

I'm still stunned by that comment. As you can see from the picture it was just a gravel covered area (we put the tree in ). People used to dump trash, old railroad ties, carpeting, an old bike and lots of doggie stuff there.

Next comes putting in the pavers so I can set up a (cemented in) grill and chairs. Who wants to help?

Looks really nice, Tenzo. Whereabouts is your house?

I'm always surprised at how many people seem to think that them letting their dog pee on the corner of my house (we're a corner rowhome) is something that shouldn't bother me. It does.
