i like most of the places everyone's mentioned, especially figs.

but i am EXTREMELY partial to the atmosphere and bar menu at jack's firehouse. the real dinner menu is ok, but the bar menu rocks! try the pulled pork or the crabcake sandwich.

I've tried all except figs. Sorry bridgets is still my fav: they have a couple of go to meals... the rest is ok. Don't know why they got rid of the blackend catfish. I like the beer selection and the fact that it is non-smoking. For real fun... eat at the bar. A lot of times I tell people where I live and they ask me if i've ever been to bridgets b/c it is their fav in the area. And nothing beats the price.

The general rule with the fairmount restraunts ... go bar menu. The food is just as good just not as foo fooey and priced right. The bar menu works well at jacks, london and aspen.
top three:
1. Bridgets
2. Aspen
3. London

Default Favorite Restaurant?

Three cheers for Brigid's! I adore their duck breast with mango chutney! Many restaurants do not serve duck and when they do it is outrageously expensive!
