Default whole foods?

i'm sure there is a thread somewhere here that i missed - but does anyone know what (if anything) will replace my beloved whole foods? one of the employees made a comment that they didn't upgrade their credit card machines b/c they are moving in 2009...that's when it really hit me that they are moving! i can only hope that something - other than a parking lot - will move in!

Since ground breaking on the new site is way past due and doesn't seem imminent 7 months into 2008, how can they possibly move in 2009?

I suspect he couldn't get financing. They say it's almost impossible these days.

that whole area is going to go under a lot of development/renovation/construction. The Barnes Foundation is moving into town, the Rodin Museum is going to expand. The new condos they are building will also have restaurants and convenience store (supposedly) on the ground floor.
