there is only so much bandwidth, that's true, but like i said, it was fine for me, so i'm not clear on why it would only keep you off and not me as well.

Jennifer,

Thanks for taking the time to post.

Without any doubt, there are serious issues with PhillyBlog. It simply is not loading for a number of us (and I presume that it is a MUCH larger number than you realize).

Personally (as someone who works in IT for a living), I don't think the problem has anything to do with bandwidth (unless you're hosting the site on a server in your basement, and someone in your house is downloading a movie! j/k).

I would think that a call to your hosting provider is in order, as they should certainly be able to examine logs to see what's happening. You're paying for your site to be accessible, and it's not. Sounds like a waste of money.

But it goes "down briefly" a lot. Is there a foreseeable end to these continuing outages? You've got a great site here - that is why it is very frustrating to keep experiencing these problems. And I know it isn't just me as there are threads about this.

I had trouble all day yesterday and earlier today. I gave up until now and this is the fastest (i.e. normal speed) I've been able to get on and move around for a few days.

I talked to them today, and yes, they are able to see what's happening. Thanks.

Thanks - I'm so glad you enjoy the site!

Stick with it ... we're working on these things I promise.
