I gave her an earful the other day and suggested that she use a different bridge if she really feels the need for a bike path. I regularly ride my bike over the South Street Bridge and have no sympathy for her.

this reassures me that i am not crazy. excellent.

I'm the one who said "moron", I also said I road my bike there, before there was a path (I'm a cyclist) and I stick by what I said. There are certain places you should not ride if you have any common sense. I almost hit cyclist there and I'm one of the few trying give them leeway. It's just a bad road to cycle on with cars. That's why they have the path and it's closed almost all the time to cars during the summer.

Thanks, I might try that.
Are there car issues or does it have a bike lane all the way?

I have watched with interest as a new traffic light is added at Kelly and Fountain View Drives (the Grant Statue). I imagine that there will be a pedestrian crossing with this signal, but it hasn't been striped yet. This should be great news for Strawberry Mansion, as it will provide a safe crossing to the Schuylkill River trail.

Oh, that's good. I haven't been up that way in a while, so didn't see it. Also, maybe the light will slow the traffic on Kelly a bit.
