Default Any suggestions on where to have a 1st birthday party?

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to hold a 1st birthday party? I would love something that could be both inside and out. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Try Franklin Square. They have all kinds of party packages to choose from. http://www.onceuponanation.org/franklinsquare.htm

You can also call 215-629-4026 for more information on party planning.

I agree. Set the bar low now. That way you're not living some hellish "My Sweet 16" scenario in the future.

Default Birthday Party For One-Year-Old Child

Hi! I am a mom of three and since you are open to suggestions I will give you mine.

A party for a one year old is really for the parents. The child will not likely remember it. I try to be practical so I never hosted a large party for my children when they turned one. I did always have a home-made cake (that they can dig their fingers in!) and my closest family members to celebrate the important milestone.

I have attended several children's parties. It seems that my children enjoyed them most when they turned three or older. The venues listed are great suggestions, here are some additional suggestions:

Please Touch Museum
Chuck E. Cheese
The Little Gym
Gymboree

I hope that you and the little one enjoys the special day.

Fairmount Art Center does great parties, too, but I think the child would need to be at least 3.
