I've been trying to find anyone that can do sidewalk grinding to remove trip hazards, but no luck so far with the ones I've found via Google in the past week. Can anyone recommend a contractor that does sidewalk grinding. I'm looking for someone that does work like this:
http://www.saberleveling.com/grinding/trip_hazzards.ws (Note: already contacted that company, they don't have anyone in the Philly area) I've seen lots of sidewalks fixed like this in NYC, but not in Philly so far. |

I think it would be, $300 a block is our charge. I can't imagine someone buying that equipment and not charging at least that much to make their money back.
All the concrete we remove is recycled and made back into concrete again. |

how big is this "trip hazzard"? if you grind now your just going to have to do it again when the tree roots push the s/w up. rip it out and replace. Besides a new s/w looks way better then a grinded one. Also sidewalks are usualy 4-6" thick and if you grind too much it will just break apart anyway. otherwise a cheap DIY is to level it out with new concrete yourself. Buy a bag, a shallow wide bucket and add water.
