I just looked out about 10 minutes ago because i heard something and saw fireworks.

i think those where the fireworks at the waterworks. they where directly after the gun shots. i heard an ambulence after the many cars over there. it sounded like a street brawl not a hit.

....people aren't sure if the noise outside is fireworks, gunfire, or both.

This is not a funny thread, but I have kind of a funny/sad story to contribute. I was camping this weekend at a wedding, and they set off fireworks. Well, I happened to be napping in a tent when the fireworks started, and I swear I jumped up and thought "**** - gunshots really close this time!!"

Can someone actually substantiate this? it is a little ridiculous to cite a specific corner for gunshots- when you live at least 4 blocks away.

I want to add this to the list

"You know it is time to move when people discuss the need for substantiation as to which block exactly the gun fire came from..."

I understand it matters if you are right there but in the abstraction of living in this neighborhood it does not.
