I got out of my car today in that little "lot" (backs of people's houses) across 27th street from North Star and saw a little orange striped cat hanging out in the weeds. I got out of the car and went near it and it was very friendly, meowing and trying to get affection. I know there's an orange striped cat missing in the 'hood, but I don't have the person's number. Anybody have that number, or anybody know anything about this cat? I got some good pics on my cellphone.

That cat's been out there for months at least. My daughter and I spooked him out of (as she calls it) the "cat cabbage" a few weeks ago. There are a few strays back there. Every so often I hear the most horrible noise -- two wild cats fighting is second only to drunk suburbanites in the annals of back-alley annoyances.

Can you post your pix of this friendly stripped orange cat. I live near the North Star Bar and Buddy likes to sneak out of the house, especially before I can get his collar on. Last week, he was out for 2 nights straight until he finally came sauntering home ready to eat. Thanks.

I don't have a way to get the pics off my phone. But I've heard from others that this cat has been in and around that lot for months. It's female and spayed, and it tends to hang out after hours near ERA bar.
