Default Kite & Key/Tiedhouse Opening?

Anyone have inside word on when the Kite and Key Gastropub (Callowhill St.) or the Tiedhouse (Hamilton St.) are opening?

Default Kite & Key/Tiedhouse Opening

This is all third hand info so.... take it with a grain of salt...

Kite & Key - I heard was shooting for July maybe... figure aug/sept then... the guys at bishops collar might know since the K&K owners came from there.

I'm guessing the Tiedhouse is the new place on hamilton that is replacing Gojo.... was I the only person that actually liked Goji?.... anway...

Here is the url for the supposed owners other restaurant.

All I can say is if the Tiedhouse is a brew pub like the other one the owners are going to need to step it up a notch on the food especially... I lived out that way for years and the restaurant is ok but the city bar food competiton is MUCH steeper.

You can also find stuff here - http://foobooz.com/

Either way lets welcome our new eateries once they open up!

I talked with one of the guys at Kite and Key, and he told me they want to be up and running by the Fourth. I can check to see if they have a more definitive date in mind.

So far, we've had the fish tacos, the shrimp po' boy and the chocolate bread pudding. Really, really good.

The wait staff knows its menu very well also.

Overall, a real pleasure.

Thumbs up Nice experience at Kite and Key

Had a nice time over the weekend at Kite and Key. The place looks great, the staff was very nice and they have a nice variety of beers on tap. We'll definitely be in a bunch. A nice welcomed spot to the area.

Cheers!

I also saw that The Tiedhouse (formerlly Goji) had a sign up that said they'll more than likely open this summer, and will offer the General Lafayette brews on tap (about 6-8) and other locally crafted brews as well. I look forward to that opening as well. They have a great patio that will be great in the end of the summer/fall.
