thanks folks. How would you rate the two pizza shops at 15 - 16 spring garden? I never tried city view but I kinda dig the mom and pop shop a few doors down. I went to ccp for a couple years so I'm not too unfamiliar with the neighborhood and it has definately changed since 2002...

Realty: has anybdy used jmh? I know they are just third party but they have been decent people to deal with.. I'm in sales so I can kind of relate to their hustle.

Also thanks for the bus route info.

i've been with JMH for 2 years, and while they can be a pain at times, if you keep on top of them, they will take care of things. For example, I got them to install a brand new HVAC system in our apt. this past summer, when our AC wasn't doing the job.

As far as pizza in the neighborhood goes, i'm thoroughly dissatisfied. While city view does have decent subs, their pizza is horrible imo. I prefer the real thin NYC style pizza, but haven't found anywhere outside of CC that can provide that. Fairmount pizza sucks equally as bad, and all their crappy food is overpriced. I'll have to check out that small place on 15th though if you say it is good.

Agreed. The pizza is TERRIBLE at CityView. It was better there years ago
before the shop was taken over by someone else(and re-named) about 5 years ago.

The pizza is better, and the people are friendlier, at
John's Pizza just east of City View on Spring Garden.

If you can get Joe's Pizza at 16th & Sansom to deliver up your way, go with that - they're a zillion times better than most of the pizza in the neighborhood. But it might be too far afield for them.

I'm a pizza fanatic (sad but true). I switch off between Angelino's in Fairmount & Rustica in NoLibs. Angelino's doesn't have the crispy crust that I like on the bottom but it's still good. Rustica delivers to the neighborhood & is usually my first choice.

agree with Phillychick on the pizza selections. Angelinos and Rustica are where it's at.
Also, key bus route from center city is the 33, which runs all the way down market and up 19th. It runs frequently and you could get off at 19th and green.
