Just wanted to let everyone know that Water Works is having a Free Open Bar this Thursday to promote their Thursday night Deck and Lounge party. I know their will be a DJ and the venue is awesome. I was there last Thursday for their first night and they really did a great job setting up the entire place.

What times for the Open Bar?

It's from 10-12 and it is Level Vodka Drinks. I know they are working on some more sponsors also.

I was going to go but it started drizzling. I ran into someone at another bar that went and they said it was a really good time.

I went, as did Jon Runyan and some other local celebs whose names I would recall if I was more into the local celeb scene. I really like the idea of a thursday night party in our neighborhood. Used to have to go to Ritt. or Olde city for such an event.

However, I will say this. Had dinner at WW before the party and we had terrible service and subpar meals. I have been there plenty before and had an excellent experience. Maybe it was a fluke, but I hope the quality of the restaurant is not slipping in favor of creating a party atmosphere.

I was there also. It was great time!! Crowd was filled with celebs and hot people. DJ was awesome. I am pretty pumped about the fact that we have something in the neighborhood, and finally in Philly. I can definately see this being the party of the summer. As for blog about food, I find it strange because the food and service there have always been top notch. I talked to the promoter for this event and this is only a summer thing. WW doesn't have any intention to get into this year round. I'll be a regular on thurs for sure!

Who was spinning?

I think this past week was DJ Lu'Ap. He will be the house dj for the summer, but there will also be guest dj's for special events.
