For those who like Rita's brand of water ice, gelato, pretzels, etc., they will be opening a new store on the 2800 block of Girard Avenue, Saturday, April 26, 2008.

I never heard for sure but I assume the BrewTown Coffee shop on 30th is a no go? What happened there???

they probably put a liquor store or check cashing place there instead

there's already 3 places that serve water ice on that stretch of Girard, if not more.

That commercial strip is the king of redundancy.
multiple chinese restaurants, 40 stops, salons, soul foods joints, variety stores...but only one Murray's.

support your local water ice vendors!!!

Did they ever open? I went by yesterday and it looked like it was still under construction...
