When I first saw the place, I was suspicious to say the least. In the interest of full disclosure, I have only been twice, and never to eat, but my assumptions seem to be ringing true based on reviews, conversations, etc.

Aside from the crappy food and service this could be the PERFECT venue for Drunken Monkey west.

Are they at least accepting credit cards now? The fact that they didn't when they first opened was a bit odd, but still not accepting them after a month was downright weird -- especially when they had their very own ATM machine inside the establishment.

Kind of have to agree with you. I've only been once, too. I thought I was at Champp's in King of Prussia instead of a cool bar in Fairmount. It was kind of a Dave Matthews Bar.

I like the idea of adding booths to divide the space a bit, although I still think it just needs a mechanical bull...

There was one night that I was in a simply pissy mood. We ran in for a quick bite to eat and I love the atmosphere's effect on my eyes, but on that night I wished I was deaf. For some reason, the cable music chanel they had on was like nails on a chalkboard to me. very radio friendly very corny music from 5 years ago. at least 4 dave matthews band songs played. or maybe it was just all bands that sound like DMB, I don't know. But I was very happy to leave.
