Default Clothing donations

I have some clothes that I'd like to donate. Does anyone know of a place to do this around here?

There is a collection recepticle on 22nd just north of Market behind to the thrift store...I believe it is for the Salvation Army. I have often dropped off clothing there.

Actually, south of Market. It is the Salvation Army. We've used them before too.

Default P.a.t.

Philly Aids Thrift on Bainbridge and...5th, I think? They always take our donations with a smile and a thanks and offer a receipt. Be sure to put your donations in a sturdy plastic garbage bag and drop it as you walk in past the counter to the left.

Their furniture store across the street also takes donations.

Another place is Retrospect on South Street.

If you are a female 6 petite, female 7.5 shoe, male medium.
I know a family in Jersey who's house recently burned down.
They did not have insurance and would greatly appreciate clothes.

If any of them fit that description, I'll post the address

I've given clothes to the Salvation Army located at 22nd and Market. You can get a receipt and file a deduction on your taxes next year.

Project Home will also give you a form for your taxes. Be informed, however, that they are open only Monday through Friday. Some other places are open on Saturday.
