There is a Comedy Night tonight in the beautiful upstairs at Rembrandts from 8-10p.m. Come on out--3Point Production Group will be taping the show for a series due to air soon on Philly's newest multi-platform channel, MiND TV.

Comedians scheduled to appear include Corey Alexander, ChadEO, and Chris Coccia.

Anyone go to this last night? I dropped by to find out there was a $10 cover. Ya figure, you drop $10 on a burger, $15 on three beers, a tip, the cover, and you're looking at $40 to kill an hour and a half. Not exactly what I was looking for on an impromptu Wednesday night outing. Granted, I don't expect people to work for free or for Rembrandt's owners to let people use the space out of the kindness of their heart, but I really had no idea it would cost that much money to support homegrown media. Oh well, call me cheap.

I'd call it pretty cheap, but trying to advertise the event 45 minutes before it starts is just retarded, some one needs some better publicity and PR skills.

I'd pay $10 for some laughs. I'd probably avoid the high/somewhat overpriced meals by eating at home before going out.

Talk about last minute advertising though! Maybe next time, we can get at least an hour's notice?
