Default sulimays anyone?? women's suggestions

hi, i normally get my hair done in center city (hair cut and single process color) and always pay between 150-175 dollars!!! i'm honestly sick and tired of paying those ridiculous prices. some people in the neighborhood have recommended sulimays in the neighborhood. has anyone tried them for color and cut??? can anyone recommed a stylist there? thanks for any advice

I don't know much about this salon. Located just south of Sulimay's is the Beehive. They are great! Super fun, relaxed atmosphere, high quality products, decent prices.

Everyone there is great, but I've personally seen Brie and Lena.

I started going to Sulimays a few months ago after similar feelings about overpriced CC salons, but only for cuts which are $32. It's a small and neighborhood friendly salon. No long waits. My stylist is Madeline and I have been happy with her. Give it a try for sure.
I tried Beehive a couple of years ago and was not happy with the results or the salon.

I go to Kathy's Shear Performance on 26th & Brown. I don't know how complex she gets, but it works for me and I pay about $30 (no coloring) for wash & cut/style.

My husband goes to Sulimay's but I haven't heard any feedback about women's haircuts.

I go to Leslie at Salon Ricochet on 13th and Sansom. The price is $45 and she is amazing! She is also great with color. I highly recommend both her and the salon. I am picky and used to go to NYC and pay much more. Definitely give her a try!

Default Sulimay's

We have lived in Fairmount for almost 8 years, I never could guess why my wife still went out to Devon to get her hair done. I have been going to Sulimay's for years, finally my wife couldn't get an appointment or was really pressed for time so she got an appointment with madaline. She has not gone any where else since. She gets colors, highlights and cuts. One of the nicest things about Sulimay's is their annual Xmas party. They close the place down and everyone is invited for plenty of drink and food.

I recently started going to Madeline at Sulimay's, and I love her! $32 for a great cut and blow dry, and it's so much more convenient than going downtown. I haven't tried her for my color yet, but I've been thinking about it...
