Default Someone's Been Climbing on the Iroquois

I just got this email:

If you see anyone climbing on the red Iroquois sculpture, please alert the Fairmount Park Art Association at 215-546-7550, and if they are not there, report it to the police.

No duh....there's video of people riding it like a seesaw on youtube.

Maybe if it wasn't so butt ugly it would garner more respect.

Actually I took that video and that was the day they constructed it. Maybe the constructions workers set a bad precedent.

I saw a couple of guys hanging onto it not too long ago, thought it was quite amusing myself, oh well.

No....there was whole vid, set to music, with different scenes of different people on it. Definitely not construction workers.

Hopefully someone real stupid gets hurt and they remove it.

We can't have fountains at the Art Museum steps but we can have this.

It just looks like a bunch of I-beams. Like they were going to build something and left.

So, they're surprised that people are riding the giant see-saw they put in the park? Hmmm... Maybe we should ask Seattle if we can get Calder's Eagle back - it seems a bit less fun to ride:

Exclamation Does CHAFING IRRITATION tell you anything?

So some like to climb on the sculpture, wellllllllll, let me say this about that!

First, there is a soft malleable dense metallic element that is used in the shielding of the paint used.
This has in it a soluble percolating liquid, that has a porous leaching liquid, that can ooze onto and into your system, and clothing.
This discharge caused by friction of climbing, gives you an irritation like a warm soreness, which turns into some painful annoyance.
It has to do with the graffiti and the cosmopolite thistle graffiti butterfly taggers, that destroy our neighborhood.
Not one of them ever becomes a well-know artist, Noooooooooooooo, they are nothing but some a$$ that paints on your property, by trickery and deceit, causing you to pay to remove the crap the taggers put up on the walls.

Old 4 sq, in the land between the two rivers,
PS, another tagger hit the dust, over at community college, and was tossed out of the school. :eek4d ance:
