Default parking stickers in Fairmount

Can anyone tell me what parking zone Fairmount is in? Should I bother getting the right sticker since there are no restrictions in the blocks around where I live? I tried to renew my parking sticker with my new address/info and they sent me a zone 1 sticker. I'm thinking that could actually come in handy for trips to CC. Thanks.

I've seen a lot of Zone 6 signs, with the occasional 17, but it depends entirely on where you're parking your car at night. I've seen a couple other numbers tossed in around the neighborhood, too, but never a Zone 1.

The PPA seems to be very ferocious when it comes to doling out tickets for meter violations and restricted parking hours (like in front of the church on the 2400 block of Green), but not so much with the parking stickers.
I can't tell you how many times I have noticed a car with out of state plates and no sticker/temporary sticker parked for an extended amount of time with no violation.

but if you park on the sidewalk in front of the church at 19th and Green, you won't get a ticket.

I blame the Catholics.
