verizon sucks too bu the grass is always greener on the other side. interesting the way people think their entitled to tv for less, rather than choose to use less of it. I pay $120/mo. Don't like it and I'd get rid of it if my wife didn't require cable. That said, I've had no issues with comcast's service. Comcast has nothing to do with wifi. the internet has always been fast and reliable.It's more expensive than I'd like and I only watch a handful of channels. They are mostly included in basic cable ($25/mo). It's not comcast's fault there aren't that many HD channels. they are better than the old smaller monopolies that used to exist, who took cash and never invested in upgrades. Indeed, we didn't get cable internet until comcast bought the cable company where my parents lived in the burbs. Still, I welcome Verizon's TV and internet because competition is a good thing. I've read that we will be getting wireless service as well (not earthlink, but a company using wimax). technology is the only thing that can get us out of the monopoly situations that are a legacy of past decisions. Until then, just be glad their high rates are bringing jobs to philly rather than San Francisco.
