Yeah, what I witnessed was in the same area (only 1 block away) as Angelino's. I'd bet it was/is the same punk. I'll take a look at the tag near Angelino's on the next Townwatch Patrol and see if they match.

I've seen this kid around the neighborhood and I'll recognize him when I see him again.

Can you give a description of the kid? We'll be on the lookout!

OK, here's the description:
about 18 years old
caucasian
about 5 1/2 feet tall
baby face
thin build...I'd guess about 145 lbs
short cut brown hair (not exactly a buzz cut, but even length all over)
black puffy jacket
The tag I witnessed was in green paint and it reads "sly".

To give you a reference, there are two kids who work at Ellis Pharmacy (both good kids, as far as I know) one kid works the register and the other kid makes deliveries...the punk that is tagging our neighborhood looks like the Ellis delivery kid (but not as tall).
I've seen this nipplehead around and I'm sure I'll see him again real soon.

Default Graffiti

On the Townwatch patrol, we looked closely at the graffiti at 25th & Parrish. There are two tags at that location: "F.M.T." and "25". They are in the same color (green) as the "sly" tag I witnessed yesterday. Therefore, I'm guessing that they were done by the same punk. Let's keep an eye out for him and his green spray paint can!
Oh, by the way, it was an uneventful (safe) Townwatch patrol.

Angry break-ins

I've moved in 3 month ago and since then my car has been broken into twice. one along poplar drive (which I knew would be sketchy) and one on the corner of 29th and pennsylvania ave (next the stairs of the pedestrian bridge). these happened at the end of september and last weekend respectively. There are at least 12 other piles of broken glass along pennsylvania. It doesn't help that the woods/railroad create a safe haven for these scabs. how can we stop this or is this the facts of life for the neighborhood? is there anyway we can organize something (IE a nightwatch, kinda of a longshot ) or can we push for a greater police presence? or just build a giant wall with razor wire and possibly some barking guard dogs too?

P.S. Is leaving your car unlock at night a good tactic?

My car and another one got their windows busted out on the 1400 block of Green early yesterday a.m. Nothing got taken, but they trashed the inside of my car, pulled everything out of the glove compartment, center console and left it all strewn all over the place.

What really bugs me is that after I had finally cleaned everything up and covered the window, yesterday evening some POS ripped the plastic off, got in the car and tore eveything up again
