As you can see, people are posting Logan Square stuff in both forums. I don't care which one is used, I'd just like to see everything in one place. I seems like you and bgandersen are having a turf war. Let me offer a suggestion that might help make things more clear. Why don't you add the names of the neighborhoods the forum covers under the forum name the way some of the other forums do. e.g. Center City Market East, Antique Row, BF Pkwy, Chinatown, Rittenhouse Square, etc. Last edited by PhillyBoy : 08-24-2005 at 10:23 PM. |

I think that's excessively prescriptive. Let people figure it out for themselves. And there's always going to be overlapping between forums.
I've wanted to include Logan Circle under the "Art Museum" label out of fairness and because I think it deserves to be there, but I personally don't have a lot of stuff to post about the neighborhood, so I really don't care where the posts appear. Those who live in this neighborhood...you be the judge. Post where you like. |

I live within Logan Square but North of the Parkway, and find this forum more relevant, someone on the South Side of the Parkway may prefer CC. The Parkway is definitely a dividing line, but to make Logan Square residents post to only F/AM or CC would ostracize half of the community either way. LS exists within both nieghborhoods. |

There's not much of a restaurant scene in Logan Square itself beyond the pizza/deli places, though a Mediterranean restaurant, Aya's Cafe, just opened on Arch between 21st and 22d, and might be open for lunch. The one review I've heard of it so far was good. Rose Tattoo, also north of Parkway at 19th and Callowhill, is a good upscale lunch place. Otherwise, yes, head just south or north of the neighborhood and there are many more choices. Last edited by UrbanChick : 09-01-2005 at 08:50 PM. |

Fresh Fields was purchased by Whole Foods. Nothing about it is still Fresh Fields but you'll find that old habits die hard in PA. directions include "take a left where the Gulf station used to be," or "It's across from what used to be Fresh Fields on Delaware Ave." the Cherry St TAvern on 22nd and Cherry is a nice little corner bar.
